Raising charges the difference only
The same identity can pay again. Checkout bills the gap. Public rank uses the new total.
If a listing is already live, paying more does not create a second row. Checkout charges only the difference between the new amount and what is already on the board.
Failed or abandoned checkouts do not change that total. Rank moves when the extra payment clears.
This is how a listing climbs without paying the whole stack again. It is still not a traffic package.
